SixthSense

Last winter the Junior Industrial Design class and Prof. Jason Morris explored wearable design solutions for Pranav Mistry’s physical gestural interfacing technology, SixthSense. Each student chose a specific user and designed accordingly using the internal components of Pranav’s current working prototype. Check out the videos on the Western ID youtube page. Hey Check Out My Website! Kind of...

portfolioz

Creating a portfolio website from the ground up is not easy; in fact it’s actually really difficult. That’s why over the last 4 years or so most web-savvy creatives have familiarized themselves with the mega popular portfolio site coroflot; a simple and accessible way to upload images from your book and have them immediately plopped into community of over 75,000 portfolios without the headaches of host POP5 servers, ZHTML, AOL5.0, LavaScript, and JQwerty Coding.

Unfortunately when your among 75,000 portfolios adding a personal touch or making your portfolio stand out can be tough. The good news is that others are beginning to recognize the online portfolio needs of creatives and we’re now seeing a nice collection of free sites become available... oh and they don’t suck.
