Thanks to all who came out to the second official IDSA meeting, Phelan Miller presented his summer ID internship at Kalediscope Design Studios and emphasized the necessity of sketching in the real world, dynamics of a studio environment, and a taste of what Chicago summers have to offer. Thanks for all of those who turned out yesterday for the first WWU IDSA Student Chapter meeting. It was a great time getting to know some of the new sophomores, not to mention the incredible results of the 3 minute team no-peeky sketch-a-lamp competition. A new semi-frequent event we will be trying to organize atleast once or twice a quarter will be IDFRIDAYS. The first IDFRIDAY will be happening next Thursday, October 22nd @ 6:30. We will be watching a fabulous and inspiring documentary, "The Pixar Story." Bring snacks and forget about your homework for a couple of hours. Check out the trailer here,
