IDSANW Portfolio Review

the review February 6th 2010 Ballard, WA - IDSANW hosted the 2nd annual student portfolio review with 14 local design professionals sharing personal feedback on students portfolios. Students received great advice on layouts, verbal presentation, and overall content. A great opportunity especially for Juniors or Seniors prepping for jobs and internships.

Featured ID Student: Junior Ian Mayhew

Dave Hull & Jonah Griffith, Feb 25th

Feb 25th 5PM - WWU ID Graduates Dave Hull and Jonah Griffith, designers at housewares company Chef’n in Seattle, will be traveling up on February 25th to share with the WWU IDSA student chapter about their work at Chef’n as well as a little about themselves. Also look for them to pop into Arunas’z afternoon perspective and rendering II class to give some feedback on your sketching skills. Hope to see you there!

Winter Quarter Update

We’re almost halfway through winter quarter, a few updates of what has been going on amongst classes and the IDSA student chapter:
A new WWU ID display was recently installed in the hallway featuring Sr, Jr, & Sophomore work in the last 3 years, we hope to update the display with more pieces before the end of the year as well as the updated picasa studio gallery featuring students hard at work from this quarter. Also make sure to check out the post on Prof. Jason Morris’s new documentary on Walter Dorwin Teague that is currently in pre-production, information on the project as well as how to help and support the project is also available.
