Featured ID Graduate: Adam Weisgerber

Adam1 I decided to grab Adam Weisgerber, WWU ID Grad 2008 & Designer at Product Creation Studio, for a blog interview. Adam was the 2006 IDSA Junior of the Year for WWU and also took a year off to intern at GE from 06-07; check out some great insight on proving yourself as a working professional, what to focus in preparation for the professional world, as well as some memorable stories from the ID CAD Skills course. Enjoy!

Darrin Seeds, Gerber Blades March 31st

Darrin Seeds, Sr. Industrial Designer at Gerber and WWU ID Grad 2005, is currently working with the Junior class this quarter designing multi-tools. In case you missed it, he was kind enough to share a fantastic presentation with the WWU IDSA student chapter on March 31st. Darrin shared his design process, a handful of prototypes, and his experience designing in London with adventurer / survival specialist badass Bear Grylls. Make sure to check out the Junior’s multi-tools and the rest of their student work at the IDSANW Junior show later this spring.
